Lesson Policies

Tuition Fee:

Fees are paid monthly at the first lesson, based on the anticipated number of lessons for that month. (i.e., 4 lessons for 4 weeks, 5 lessons for 5 weeks).

Payment is due one week before the first lesson of the month. Please seal the tuition fee in an envelope.

NO refunds will be given once payment is made.

Missed Lessons:

Regular attendance is required for appropriate progress. Your lesson time is reserved exclusively for you in the teacher's schedule. Therefore, students are responsible for attending all lessons.

If you need to change your piano lesson schedule, please inform the teacher TWO days in advance and arrange a makeup class. Otherwise, there will be NO makeup, and the tuition fee will be CHARGED.

Consideration will be given for students who become suddenly ill and should inform the teacher as soon as possible.

Students who do not SHOW UP for scheduled lessons will NOT be offered makeups regardless of the reason, and the tuition fee will be CHARGED.

Missed lessons will be made up at the discretion and availability of the teacher. Lessons missed by the teacher will be made up, or the paid fee will be carried over to the following month.

Practice:

Music study will be most successful and rewarding with consistent and diligent practice with a clear goal in mind. Students who establish good practice habits from the beginning will progress more rapidly and find piano practice and lessons more enjoyable.

The amount of time required for good-quality practice will vary depending on the student's age and playing level.

Others :

Lesson time is precious. Please be punctual. No calls will be answered during piano teaching. Please leave a message if no one picks up the phone.
